1. Respectful Communication

All players must communicate respectfully with others. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, or any form of abusive language is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:

• Profanity, obscene language, or inappropriate content
• Threats, intimidation, or harassment
• Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics
• Personal attacks or inflammatory remarks
• Spam, repetitive messages, or excessive use of capital letters

2. Content Moderation

Imposter Online employs automatic content moderation to filter inappropriate language and prevent spam. All chat messages are:

• Automatically scanned for profanity and inappropriate content
• Subject to rate limiting to prevent spam (maximum 10 messages per minute)
• Monitored for violations of these guidelines
• Filtered or blocked if they violate our policies

Messages that contain inappropriate content may be automatically sanitized or blocked. Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent account restrictions.

3. Prohibited Behavior

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or ban:

• Cheating, exploiting bugs, or using unauthorized software
• Impersonating other players or staff members
• Sharing personal information (yours or others') in chat
• Advertising, soliciting, or promoting external services or products
• Attempting to manipulate game outcomes through collusion or other unfair practices
• Creating multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage
• Distributing malware, viruses, or harmful content
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

4. Gameplay Integrity

Players must maintain the integrity of the game. This includes:

• Playing fairly and not colluding with other players
• Not sharing game information outside of the game (e.g., revealing roles in external chat)
• Not intentionally disrupting games or trolling other players
• Respecting the game rules and mechanics

5. Reporting Violations

If you encounter a player violating these guidelines, please report them immediately. You can report violations by contacting us at support@wordimposter.online with details about the violation.

When reporting, please include:

• The username of the violating player
• The room code or game ID where the violation occurred
• A description of the violation
• Screenshots or evidence if available
• The date and time of the incident

6. Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

• Warnings for minor violations
• Temporary account restrictions (e.g., chat mute, temporary ban)
• Permanent account suspension or ban for severe or repeated violations

Enforcement actions are at the discretion of Imposter Online moderators and administrators. Appeals may be submitted to support@wordimposter.online.

7. Age Restrictions

Imposter Online is intended for players aged 13 and older. Players under 13 should not use the service without parental consent. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's use of the platform.

8. Changes to Guidelines

We reserve the right to update these Community Guidelines at any time. Continued use of Imposter Online after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines. We encourage you to review these guidelines regularly.
